Alongside standard vehicle body and paint work, we gradually expanded into restoring vintage vehicles — both cars and motorcycles. Today, we have left accident repairs behind to fully dedicate ourselves to vintage restoration — a craft close to our hearts and one that has fascinated us for decades.
Restoration is a craft that demands special dedication, skill, and experience. Over the years, our deep knowledge of vintage car construction and restoration techniques has attracted clients from across Estonia and Europe — all seeking the same thing: a perfect result for their cherished four-wheeled companions. To meet this standard, we have gradually invested in specialized equipment and tools for high-quality classic car bodywork and painting, including English wheels, stretch-shrink machines, bead rollers, slip rollers, cutters, precision welding equipment, and more.
January 1990.
The founding of Benefit AS, originally established as an accident repair service and garage.
As the company grew, we relocated to larger facilities in Tallinn, on Kalda Street.
This location housed our headquarters, warehouse, and mixing room for our Standox paint supply business, along with our newly established Training Center and a small restoration workshop.
February 1994.
March 2000.
We opened a branch office in Tartu, complete with a warehouse and paint mixing lab for our paint business.
Fast delivery and expert on-site advice helped us become a market leader in Tartu and southern Estonia.
We made the decision to enter the Latvian market by acquiring a majority stake in Auto Palete SIA, the official Latvian representative of Standox.
After collaborating as colleagues for over 10 years, we felt the time was right to join forces.

In 2010, we exited the collision repair business by selling our body shop operations to Metro Auto OÜ, who continues to operate in the same premises.
After 15 years in the field, we felt it was time to move on — taking the valuable experience we gained and passing it on to our partners.
Our big dream came true — we completed the construction of our own training center for car painters and body technicians:
the Benefit Training Center.

For many years, we had also been involved in the restoration of vintage vehicles. After stepping away from body shop operations, we began to develop this area further.
To distinguish vintage car restoration from our other business areas, we created a new brand — Benefit Auto Klassika — which encompasses vehicle restoration, specialized training, and the sale of related materials and equipment.
Our biggest milestone to date took place when we moved to new premises in Härgmäe, featuring a fully modern, state-of-the-art workshop, training center, service area, office, and warehouse.
We had moved before, but this time was different — the new building was fully designed by us, for us. Now, we’re able to delve even deeper into restoring rare classics using only top-of-the-line tools and machinery.

February 2023.
After years of building our expertise in restoration and bodywork, our reputation began to gain international recognition.
We were approached by Kalmar Automotive — a luxury restomod company from Denmark, specializing in bringing classic Porsches back to life with a modern twist.
Thanks to a shared vision and a strong technical fit, we now build their half-million-euro cars right here in Estonia.
Our new Paint Training Centre at Härgmäe 22 opened with all-new equipment and possibilities for world-class preparation and paintwork.
The Blowtherm top-of-the-line spray booth with pneumatic grid floor, fully enclosed prep station, and modern mixing room with the Standox paint system ensure a flawless finish for special cars.
