The Jaguar E-Type Series 1 is the original and classic version of the car, produced from 1961 to 1968 and considered by many to be the most beautiful. The Series 1 was initially powered by a 3.8-liter engine, and in 1965, it was upgraded to a more powerful 4.2-liter engine with a fully synchronized gearbox and other improvements like reclining seats and a better brake servo.
